Hi team,

We have built our apps using the Node SDK. Thanks for all of the recent updates which have really improved this SDK. (3.2.2 and 2.0.1 electron renderer).

We're seeing a large number of our users migrate over to M1-based macOS laptops, now that the early adopters are raving about how good they are. We're getting more demands for a native/ARM64 app for this platform to improve performance and reduce resource use. The one thing still stopping us is the Jabra Node SDK.

Is there an intention to build the SDK for this platform?
What's on the road map with regards to this?
If it is, what is the current priority of this?

Apple details:
https://developer.apple.com/documentation/apple-silicon/building-a-universal-macos-binary

Is it merely a case of building a universal binary of your dylib targeting both platforms?

Kia ora and regards,

James

Hi James,

We're investigating what the effort will be to support Apple's new processors natively.
Once that is clarified we'll add it to our roadmap and I'll be able to give you an expected release date.
