Hi,

I am using Linux (2.6.39 kernel) and I am trying to find a way that would allow me to send volume increment/decrement commands from my host OS to the Jabra device. I saw that this functionality is possible both in Windows and Ubuntu, where controlling the volume from the PC alters the Jabra volume leds.

I can accept Consumer HID volume increment/decrement commands from the Jabra to my systemm, but not the other way around. Also, I can send mute/off-hook commands to the Jabra (using HIDIOCSUSAGE ioctl), but I can't find the corresponding usage id for the volume controls.

I would appreciate your insights!

Thanks,
Yan

Hi Yan,
thank you for the question. I expect to provide example code of the volume control and hope this will clarify the usage.

Stay tuned.

Thanks.

Hi again,
please download the sample code from the link below. This is setting volume from host to device.
