Microsoft Teams

Jabra professional headsets are available as UC Certified or MS Teams Certified device variants. Microsoft integrates all Jabra devices for MS Teams with USB HID. Functionality differs depending in the device variant.

Option A. UC Certified Device

UC Certified: The device addresses only standard USB usage pages.

The core functionality of all Jabra headsets for MS Teams is identical. Standard Call Control features are supported both by MS Teams Certified and UC Certified devices.

Option B. Teams Certified Device

Teams Certified: The device addresses proprietary MS Usage Pages in addition to Standard USB Usage Pages.

MS Teams Certified devices support standard Call Control features in the same way as UC Certified devices.

MS Teams Certified devices also support advanced features like for example:

• blinking light on Hardware Controller before a MS Teams meeting starts
• bringing the MS Teams window to the front by pressing a hardware button

Advanced features use proprietary MS Usage Pages in USB HID.
