Functionality
The common video functions of Jabra PanaCast devices (setting up video streams etc.) are controlled through the USB video class protocol, as specified in the USB Device Class Definition.
Interface libraries providing higher-level abstractions of the USB control protocol are provided with operating systems as e.g. a Minidriver for Microsoft Windows, or as commercial or open-source libraries for Linux and other platforms.
To access the unique, intelligent capabilities of the PanaCast video devices you will need to use the PanaCast API provided by Jabra.
The API provides access to the People-count function of the camera and includes a demo app (client and server) illustrating how to use the library API.
System Requirements
These are the system requirements for running the demo app and the apps built with the libraries.
- Windows version: 7 (32-bit & 64-bit) or later
