.NET Demo Application

The Demo Application demonstrates SDK features like Call Control and Firmware Updates in a GUI application.

Building the Demo Application

In Visual Studio 2019 you build the demo application like this:

  1. Extract the .zip file of the SDK for Windows download.
  2. Go to the file /demo/src/Jabra-SDK-Demo.sln.
  3. Load the file into Visual Studio. Now the demo project is displayed in the Solution Explorer.
  4. Go to References in the Solution Explorer.
  5. Add a reference to JabraSDK.dll. This file is located in the path /library/[architecture]/ of the extracted .zip.file.
  6. If existing, delete the broken reference to JabraSDK from the Solution Explorer.
  7. Press the shortcut Ctrl+B to build the demo application.
  8. Plug in a Jabra device.
  9. Press Start button.

Now you can see the GUI of the Jabra SDK Demo application.

Working with the Demo Application

  1. Try out the available features.
  2. Look up the source code for the respective feature in the folder demo/src.

This will give you a good impression how integration works with SDK for Windows.
